CNN is learning the gunman who killed eight people at a Texas mall was obsessed with Nazis and mass shootings. He also appears to have scoped out that mall before the massacre and the waited for the biggest crowds. A witness who was there during the gunfire is OutFront. Plus, the jury is about to begin deliberations in the E. Jean Carroll civil rape trial against Donald Trump. Also, as a Trump-era policy which allowed the government to quickly turn away certain migrants at the border, originally with the aim of stopping the spread of Covid-19, is set to expire soon, border cities are seeing a spike in migration.
