Rep. George Santos pleaded not guilty to 13 federal charges, including allegations of fraud related to Covid-19 unemployment benefits, misusing campaign funds, and lying about his personal finances on House disclosure reports. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy said he would wait before calling on Santos to resign but would not support Santos’ reelection. Plus, we are moments away from a town hall with Donald Trump one day after a jury found him liable for sexual abuse.
