Ephesians 3 - Family of One

Main Passage: Ephesians 4:1-3 (w/ comments on Ephesians 3:6,16). Discussion Questions: -Did anyone feel like God was getting their attention with something that was said or happened on Sunday? -When you consider why people come together and unite, what are examples of the foundation of their unity? What is their unity built upon? -It seems Christians keep dividing. Speaking from your personal experience, why do you think it is difficult for us to remember and live like Jesus' work is the foundation of our unity? In regards to maintaining the unity of the Spirit, Paul mentions humility, patience, and bearing with one another in love. Brett commented on how the idol of power can attack humility, the idol of control can attack patience, and the idol of comfort can attack bearing with one another. If you had to choose, which idol is most dangerous in your life? Why? -What excites you when you think about where increased unity could lead us as a kingdom family? Summary Statement: Living as a Family of One Points to the Saving Son.
