Recientemenete se ha constituido la asociación de vecinos de La Mata y Torrelamata para reivindicar en el ayuntamiento las mejoras que creen necesarias para su pedanía.
Por ello hemos invitado a su presudebte Cayetano Pérez y al edil de playas y medio-ambiente del ayuntamiento de Torrevieja Antonio Vidal.
