Show Notes

Imagine taking your client for a tour of their new building. Entering the front door, walking through the lobby full of natural light and vaulted ceilings. You point to a detail above where the sunlight enters the space and reflects from the wall surface and explodes into a rainbow of colors.

Imagine taking this tour with your client before the foundation is poured, or the walls are constructed? Imagine experiencing the light filled lobby before the building even exists.

Virtual reality is a tool that may allow architects to design new spaces, never before experienced. It will allow us to experiment and find the faults before they become reality. Virtual reality is here and it will soon transform our entire profession.

This week on the EntreArchitect Podcast, George Valdes of IrisVR shares his thoughts on virtual reality in architecture.
