EnglishMystic - A Shamanic Healing with the Dismemberment Journey https://englishmystic.mykajabi.com/blog/the-dismemberment-shamanic-journey-with-englishmystic The Dismemberment Journey We all carry old stress, trauma, and negative energy, stored in our chakras and auras, and our body, and they keep us stuck in a low vibration. Even a daily Chakra cleanse and Aura cleanse is not enough. That old energy, and old ways of being, those old patterns, some inherited, others habits we created, or injuries we've picked up, they become part of who we are. If you've never fully cleansed that energy it's probably time to have a major cleanse. That’s what a dismemberment journey is all about What is Dismemberment? The word dismemberment is not a misleading one. You go on a shamanic journey to your power animal or teacher, and they break you into pieces. Sometimes it will seem gentle, like melting ice into water. Other times you might see yourself torn apart. The way the spirit world does the dismemberment is endlessly creative. Every shamanic healer asks for this to happen to them one or more times, and each person will tell you a different story. In mine, I was burnt to ash by the Dragons fire. Dismemberment Is Healing A dismemberment journey is healing. After the journey, you can feel very different. Occasionally your entire point of view about the world can shift. This shift might happen directly after the healing, sometimes it takes a while to settle in, and it can last a short time, or is more permanent. The world may seem more vibrant, colourful. All around you can feel imbued with light and feel divine. You can also feel unsettled or disturbed for a time because it was such a significant shift in your energy. It can be disturbing to lose parts of your identity that seemed essential to you. Although the spirit world will only remove things that are no longer required by you. The Dismemberment Journey So if I haven’t scared you off, and you would like to receive a dismemberment healing, how do you proceed? Intention: To receive a dismemberment and “whatever else” the spirits would like to give you. The 'whatever else' part allows the spirits to decide if they will re-member* you or not and allows them to heal what you might not even know needs healing. *As you may become nothing but source energy on the journey, they may or may not recreate you physically. The Dismemberment Journey 1. Journey to a power animal or teacher you trust, with the intention. To receive a dismemberment and “whatever else” the spirits would like to give you. 2. Whoever arrives to meet you is probably the spirit who will help you with this, ask them if they are or to take you to the one(s) who will. 3. Ask the spirit(s) you meet for a dismemberment, and “whatever else they would like to give you”. 4. If the spirits put you back together (re-member you) then return after you are re-membered. If not, at some point, you will know that it is time to return, and you will return in whatever form you are in. Otherwise, return when the return drum beat sounds. 5. Upon returning, take a few moments to allow yourself to settle back into your body. Take some lung-filling breaths. Move your fingers and toes, and stretch your whole body. 6. When you are ready sit/stand up. Do not rush this, you may need a short time to settle and you might feel dizzy. 7. It's good practice to go outside and ground yourself, or go to a window and look outside. Sometimes you will feel a stronger connection to the world around you after a dismemberment journey. Standing in or looking at nature can help you feel this connection. Drink water too. When Would you do this? You can have this journey any time, and as many times as you feel the need, there is no limit. Some shamans find they are required to do this journey frequently. However, for most, the journey is profound enough, that they don’t need to do it more than one or two times. You may consider doing this if you “feel stuck” in some way. You can do this journey during a major life change where your identity is changing. For example; parenthood, or into life after parenthood, retirement. Any time you have a change in your identity or life situation. You might consider this journey if you are shifting to a higher vibration. If you feel you need assistance to move to “the next level.” As it's a powerful healing, you may consider for any health issues, as a major energy reset. WHO WANTS TO DO THIS NOW? Pre-requisite: You have a loving relationship with a power animal that you trust and can call in during the Shamanic journey to the lower realms OR You trust my power animals, in this case, the Dragons to take you through the process.
