Show Notes

Benjamin Kintisch is the creator of Life Review: The Hospice Musical. Ben completed graduate studies at Jewish Theological Seminary with a Masters in Sacred Music along with a Cantoral degree.

Life Review was inspired by Ben's work as a chaplain at a residential hospice in New Jersey. This one of a kind musical celebrates life, love and loss during three seasons at the hospice. The musical story follows young Rabbi David, the new chaplain at the facility and shows how he learns from his patients even as he cares for them and their loved ones.

In the musical, each patient sings their story. For example, we hear from a proud mother remembering snow, a brave but scared young man wondering what's to come and a man of God singing praises--among many others.

Currently, the Life Review creative team has begun developing several additional versions of the project for virtual presentations including a 45 minute cabaret version of the musical, featuring songs and narration. The crew hopes to get back on the road when Covid restrictions end. For more information about their tour dates and upcoming work, please see: https://www.lifereviewmusical.com/
