Women, especially, carry the extra burden of immigrating with children or getting separated from them in the proces
This week, Consuelo highlights the brave women who traveled across the world to create a life for themselves and their family. These women became our mothers and grandmothers. Yet, after only a generation or two, family loses sight of the immense struggle these women endured to create the life we take for granted now.
