In this emotional episode host CJ Boxrud talks with Nick Nunes a former Marine, and current Law Enforcement officer. The guys talk about some of the hardships that come from the day to day grind while being a peace officer. They also go over a recent OIS Nick was involved in, and some of the lessons learned. One of the lessons was the idea of using a red dot system on a duty gun. Nick was the first in his department to be authorized to use an RMR on duty, since then 2 more have chosen to do the same. Nick and CJ are good friends and connected by most of the topics, and a mission to help other officers. Nicks OIS was a big reason why CJ started his project to fund training for LEOs.
