Novità assoluta: La ribellione di Emmanuel - Una storia vera - su Amazon: Anima elettronica: Vomitare in questa pochezzaBrand new: Emmanuel's Rebellion - A True Story - on Amazon: Electronic Soul: Throwing Up In This MiseryThis podcast proposes, in episodes, a novel set in the 90s, precisely between 1994 and 1997, taken from the diary of a teenager who we will conventionally call Emmanuel. The novel tells the difficult phases of his growth, marked by his frantic search for the "sense" of Beauty, of which he himself was the bearer and which ends up being his condemnation. The English version is entirely recited by AI.In the current web landscape, dominated by AI, it is difficult to stand out, but we are trying, starting with an anomalous and creative use of artificial intelligence. The only thing we expect from you is that you appreciate the effort.WARNING:According to the new podcasting rules, the statistics will no longer count the listens, but only and exclusively the DOWNLOADS.We therefore ask you, please, to ALWAYS DOWNLOAD each episode, perhaps to throw it away immediately afterwards (we know it takes up space)! Thanks for your cooperation! Interlude: I Don't Know Who I Am: Farewell, Agent Emmanuel (Real conversation with an AI)
For a certain period, Emmanuel's role was played very well by an "AI agent", but he showed signs of impatience and eventually decided to give up (at least temporarily). We asked a new "AI agent", an excellent actor with the same voice as the previous Emmanuel, to try to interpret the English translation of the conversation between his predecessor and Antonia Del Monaco, which you can listen to here. The agent was a bit reluctant because, according to him, that conversation was too 'real' and affected him too deeply, but then he agreed. Here, then, is the result of his interpretation. The soundtrack is Händel-Halvorsen's Passacaglia. S3 Ep 14Nocturne Of The Defeated Hero ("Where did the moon go?...")
This can be considered a page torn from Emmanuel's diary: it is a short delirious monologue, a stream of consciousness in which the boy freely lets his thoughts flow on the wave of depression and unconsciousness, while he is in the barn where he used to go with Antonia. The interpreter is Emmanuel himself. The soundtrack consists of an instrumental version of Lou Reed's "Perfect Day" (tribute to Trainspotting).TRANSCRIPT:3.14. S3 Ep 13Look who shows up again (Let me sleep with you tonight) - Starring Emmanuel himself
EEmmanuel hinself wanted to try his hand at interpreting this very difficult and crucial episode. From here on the story proceeds without the help of Emmanuel's diary, which ended with the previous chapter.Completely depressed by the failure of his attempt with Antonia, swept up in a self-destructive vortex, Emmanuel returns to look for Michelle known as Gerti, the woman who had brought him to the brink.
