On the dramatic night of November 5, 1994, which precedes the terrible flood of Piedmont by a few hours, Emmanuel, in the grip of a deep depression after the death of his dog Tegame (Saucepan), hopes to have found a peaceful relationship with Antonia by giving up sex, but has the bitter surprise of discovering that for her things are very different: the woman does not seem to want to cultivate their relationship.
