The New York Times has filed a lawsuit against OpenAI and Microsoft, alleging the unauthorized use of millions of its articles to train and operate ChatGPT, a popular AI tool. This legal action is the most recent among several filed by creators and publishers, including comedian Sarah Silverman and author George R.R. Martin, against tech companies for using their work to develop AI models without permission.
