Amazon's CEO, Andy Jassy, confirmed on Thursday that the tech giant is betting big on generative AI and large language models (LLMs), which he believes will be "transformative" and a "big deal" for Amazon's business, customers, and shareholders. In his second annual letter to shareholders, Jassy highlighted that Amazon will invest heavily in these technologies to set the company up for decades of innovation in every area of its business.
