Doug Cavanaugh founder of Ruby's Diner is interviewed by David Cogan of Eliances Heroes show amfm, iHeart radio. Doug was inspired to open the 40s style diner one night on a run near Balboa pier in Newport Beach California. With the help of his father and his mother's good name, he opened the first Ruby's Diner in 1982. Doug and David talk about the importance of family, believing in yourself and never quitting in this insightful talk. Doug build his business from the ground up and has given back throughout his career and continues to guide the Ruby's collection of diners across the Nation.
