En 1928, Maurice Ravel compone y estrena su Bolero, con influencias melódicas españolas. Esta obra conformó una revolución en la composición de música académica, ya que “se limitaba” a repetir una y otra vez la misma melodía, algo no oído nunca hasta entonces.
