Brad’s teaching on James 4:7-10 shed light on the idea that God doesn’t want us to try our way into being good Christians. He wants us to submit to His leading in our lives.

God declares he is a jealous God. He doesn't want part of us, he wants all of us. James 4:4-6

James 4:1-3 is clear that life without prayer produces a frustration with God. When we operate in our own power, we are never satisfied with the results.

The wisdom of God is not like what the world would encourage us to do. James makes the distinction in James 3:13-18.

James 3:1-12 is a convicting reminder that what we say has the power to do good or do harm. Jesus followers are to pursue Christ in all things and the way we talk will be a byproduct of the condition of our hears.

Ken Carson brought another convicting teaching from James 2:14-26. Real faith in Jesus for salvation has evidence in our daily lives.

James 2:1-13 gives clear direction that no matter someones status or position, Jesus followers are to show no partiality. We are instead called to love everyone as our neighbors.

James 1:22-27 is all about actions. Jesus followers are called to not just hear the truth of God's word, but also do what it says. We are called to live our our faith.

In James 1:19-21, James warns against letting anger blind you and directs us to live with humility and seek God through his word.

Steve continues in James 1:13-18 where James relates temptation to sin to the trials we may experience.

Our new series in the Book of James began with Steve teaching through James 1:1-12 as James introduces the book with the idea that trials are often used by God for our good and His glory.

Steve's teaching on Exodus 34-35 was a reminder of how good God is and how he welcomes us into his presence.

Ian's teaching on Exodus 32 reminded us how quick we are to create idols to worship when our worship fails to focus on God.

Steve unpacked Exodus 28-31. God gave instructions to the priests and the tabernacle but there is more meaning for us than what you might expect.

As we continue through Exodus 25-27, Steve taught on the Tabernacle and how its layout and purpose was to point God's people to His presence and worship.

Steve taught on Exodus 23:20-24:18. Moses is ushered into the presence of God on behalf of the people.

Jesus' Resurrection not only means life for those who follow Him, but also is a message of hope for hurting people.

Steve's teaching was on Exodus 20:22-23:19.

Steve's teaching on Exodus 20:17-21 covered the final commandment in the 10 Commandments as well as what it means to fear the Lord.

Our Family Pastor, Matt, taught on Exodus 20:12-16. These five commandments have a lot to do with our relationship with the people around us and how we can honor God in our interactions with others.

Steve taught on Exodus 20:8-11 and the commandment to keep the sabbath and its importance, not just as a command in the Ten Commandments, but as gift from God that we first see in Genesis.

Steve's teaching on Exodus 19:1-20:7 was on God's commands to the Hebrews at the bottom of Mount Sinai. His directions were to create a posture and place of worship.

Steve's teaching on Exodus 17:8-18:27 tells the story of God defeating the Amalekites through Moses' obedience.

Ken Carson's teaching was on Exodus 15:22-17:7. God displayed himself as a healer to the Hebrews while they were in the desert.

Steve's teaching on Exodus 13:17-15:21 explained the miracle of God parting the Red Sea. God showed his power but also his intentions for His people.

Pastor Steve taught on the Passover in Exodus chapter 12, the final plague God cast on Egypt.

Pastor Steve's teaching on Exodus Chapters 7-11 identified how God was at play through the plagues he placed on Egypt in order to free His people.

Pastor Steve's teaching on Exodus chapters 5-6 reminded us to focus on God's promises, especially in times of struggle and doubt.

Pastor Steve's teaching on Exodus 3:13-4:31 looks at the signs and wonder's God preforms through Moses to show who his power to both the Egyptians and Hebrews.

Pastors Steve's teaching on Exodus 2 was all about receiving God's calling but being patient for his timing. Moses is a great example of this.

Pastor Steve began our series through the book of Exodus with some background and history and finished Exodus 1:1-22 with an emphasis on God honoring the midwives for their obedience to himself over the king.

Kyle Hatfield ended the year with a challenge to find ways to disconnect from technology more and live more as God intended for man to live.

The final week of Advent's teaching was on love. The most powerful love of all was displayed by Jesus on the cross.

Pastor Steve taught on Joy. Many seek joy in so many things but true joy can only be found in seeking Jesus.

Pastor Steve taught on Peace that can only come from King Jesus. Gen 12:1-3

Ken Carson kicked off our first Advent teaching on the hope that can only be found in light of the gospel.

Sunday was the final week in our series: Made New. Pastor Steve walked through what it looks like to live a transformed life. We then had the opportunity to bring forward commitment cards as we seek to raise funds for the renovation of our new building.

Pastor Steve taught week 3 of Made New with with an emphasis on placing God in the correct position of priority in your life.

Pastor Steve taught week 2 of our series Made New. He had a focus on Psalm 193:23-24 where David asks God "Search me".

Pastor Steve brought Joshua 4 before our church and raised the question "Are we building an alter to worship God or a statue to worship ourselves?"

Pastor Steve did a recap of the entire book of Romans.

Pastor Steve taught on Romans 16. Paul references so many different Jesus followers with different backgrounds and gifts that come together to represent the Kingdom of God.

Pastor Matt taught on Romans 15:14-33 where Paul shares his excitement to preach and minister to people all over the known world.

This teaching from Pastor Steve is on Romans 5:1-13. Paul urges Jewish and non-Jewish Christians to live in the hope only Jesus can offer.

Pastor Steve finished teaching through Romans 14. Paul gives the reminder that the primary goal of a Jesus follower is to honor God and love one another

Pastor Steve breaks down Romans 14:1-12 . Paul teaches how people from different backgrounds can stay united in the gospel.

Pastor Steve taught on Romans 13:8-14 on Paul’s command to fulfill the law through loving one another.

Pastor Steve finished teaching Romans 13:1-7. Paul calls Jesus followers to place government in its proper place and placing God in his proper place. Our response to government and politics should be in love.
