In Part 10 of his series on I & II Samuel, Rabbi Schiller looks at the account of David taking the Ark to Jerusalem, and we see here a picture of the Gospel, both with God’s judgment when we try to do things our own way, as with Uzzah, and God’s provision through the Mercy Seat on top of the Ark.

In Part 9 of his series on I & II Samuel, Rabbi Schiller looks at how David spared Saul’s life, and how we, too, can forgive our enemies through the power of the Gospel, which gives us both the humility to know that we, too, are sinners, and the affirmation that we are beloved in the LORD and therefore can overcome hurts inflicted by others.

In Part 7 of his series on Samuel, Rabbi Schiller looks at Saul’s envy of David and how we can be freed from slavery to envy and jealousy by having the same attitude towards others that Y’Shua has toward us, by putting our happiness into the happiness of others.
