Abraham and Sarah were getting on in years. Sarah's periods stopped. Bereshit 18:11 Every day brings a new challenge and a new mission in life. You can't postpone tasks that can be completed in one day, because the latter will have its responsibilities. People navigate life with their "spiritual calendars" marked by the days and hours they've wasted or, even worse, spent engaged in negative activities. In contrast, individuals like Abraham and Sarah made the most of their time, using each day to its fullest and with a clear purpose. "They came with days." They reached old age having lived many meaningful days. Then HaShem said to Abraham, "Why did Sarah laugh and say, 'Shall I indeed bear a son, though I am old?'" Is anything too difficult for God? "I will return next year, and Sarah will have a son." Both Abraham and Sarah laughed when they heard they would have a baby. Demonstrating that they were happy people who expressed their feelings. Their relationship with HaKadosh BaruchHu was respectful, but also joyful. As it says in Psalm 16:11: "You will show me the way of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forever." Secondly, there's a lot we can learn from this text. Most people, if not all, tend to focus on things they've already learned. Humans are wired with a creative mind that seeks solutions and moves toward new things and fresh ideas. This is evident in children who are not yet constrained by the knowledge they have accumulated throughout their lives, as their brains have not yet had sufficient time to process information. They're more open to learning new things and new ideas. Children can teach us a lot, especially how to be open to new ideas. It's essential to have a creative and imaginative approach to life if you want to walk in the Creator's footsteps. After all, the Creator's mind is not limited in any way. He's creating something new. It's written in Numbers 16:30a: "But if the Lord does something entirely new" and Isaiah 43:19a: "Behold, I do a new thing, now it is happening; do you not perceive it?" and Revelation 21:5a: "And he who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new."
