Elohim instructs Moshe to collect pure olive oil from the Children of Israel for the Menorah's eternal flame, which Aaron will light daily. The priestly garments for the Cohanim (Ministers) serving in the Sanctuary are described. All the Cohanim wore: 1) ketonet - a long linen tunic; 2) mijnasaim - linen pants; 3) mitznefet or migbaat - a linen turban; 4) avnet - a long belt around the hips. In addition, the Cohen Gadol (The Great Minister) wore: 5) ephod - a kind of apron made of wool dyed in blue, purple, and red colors, linen, and gold thread; 6) joshen - a plate that was attached to the chest, on which were inlaid twelve precious stones engraved with the names of the twelve tribes of Israel; 7) meil - a blue woolen tunic with bells and golden pomegranates on its lower edge; 8) tzitz - a golden plate on the forehead, with the inscription "Set apart for Elohim" Includes instructions for the seven days of initiation for Aaron and his four sons into the Ministry, as well as details for constructing the Golden Altar, used for burning incense.
