Five daughters of Tzlafjad ask Moshe to grant them the portion of land that belongs to their father, who dies without sons; Elohim accepts your request and incorporates it into the inheritance laws of the Torah. Moshe bequeaths power to Yoshua to succeed him to guide the people to the Land of Israel. The section concludes with a detailed list of daily offerings, the additional offerings brought on Shabbat, Rosh Chodesh (beginning of the month), and the holidays of Passover, Shavuot, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, and Shmini Atzeret.
