Bitcoin is boiling the ocean. Until Daniel Batten came along. With a background in due diligence, Daniel read all about Bitcoin’s bad footprint but wanted to investigate himself how good or bad Bitcoin’s emission truly are. The results were both surprising and game-changing. Not only was the existing data overexaggerating the energy usage and emissions, he found out that due to bitcoinmining’s unique features the industry intrinsically moves towards renewable energy.
In this episode he shares why he thinks that Bitcoinmining will be emission-neutral in 2028, how bitcoin’s narrative in mainstream media is slowly changing and why he sees so much potential in landfill gas mining.
