Tom Mauriello is a renowned criminal forensics expert with over 30 years of experience in the field. He has served as a senior criminal investigator and special agent with the U.S. Department of Defense, specializing in investigative methods and forensic science. Mauriello is also a respected professor at the University of Maryland, where he teaches forensic sciences and criminal justice. In addition to his investigative work, he is a sought-after consultant and media expert on crime scene investigations, often sharing his expertise on major news outlets. He is the author of The Dollhouse Murders, a book that offers insight into crime scene investigations using detailed, small-scale dioramas to recreate real cases. Currently, Mauriello runs his consulting firm, ForensIQ, which provides forensic science services and education to legal professionals, law enforcement, and the public.
