Show Notes
Canadians are setting their sights higher for retirement savings, with the average target now at $1.7 million, a significant increase from last year. However, confidence in reaching these goals is waning, with 36% of people believing they wont hit their targets. Savings habits vary, with 28% saving less than 5% of their income and only 21% saving more than 10%. The concept of full retirement is also evolving, with 14% of the population having no plans to stop working, rising to 27% among baby boomers.
