28-year-old Robbie Gemmell, from Dunbar, was recently sentenced in Edinburgh Sheriff Court for drink driving, assaulting a police officer, and acting threateningly. In 2013, as a teenager, he caused a fatal car crash, killing three schoolmates. Despite initially lying about his involvement, he was later convicted and given a four-year driving ban. This time, he received an 18-month driving ban, a 2-year supervision order, 180 hours of unpaid work, and alcohol treatment.
