Detectives in Livingston seek publics help in identifying a masked assailant who attacked and robbed a victim on a footpath near the railway line. The incident occurred between 10 pm and 11:30 pm on March 24, 2026, between Saint Enoch Crescent and Haymarket Crescent. The suspect, approximately 6 feet tall with a skinny build, wore dark clothing and a balaclava, striking the victim with a hammer and stealing their wallet before fleeing towards Deans. Police urge anyone with information or relevant CCTV/dash-cam footage to contact Police Scotland or Crimestoppers anonymously to aid in the investigation.
