The lifestyle in Fast & Furious #1 was based off of the import scene that Ron grew up in in California. Ron and his team set trends and records in their Honda and helped grow the sport of Import drag racing from grassroots events to racing with the NHRA. Ron and his team's innovation impacted the Honda community worldwide.
