As we wrap up our "Tension and Triumph" series through the book of James, Zach reminds us of one simple but powerful truth: bring everything to God. Too often, our natural instinct is to carry life on our own—but James points us toward a faith that trusts God in every season. Whether you’re walking through something difficult or celebrating something good, this message is an invitation to bring it all to the One who cares for you and holds everything in His hands.

This week, Zach unpacks what it means to have patience in our waiting. We all go through seasons of waiting. Waiting on Gods movement, waiting on people in our lives, and waiting for our circumstances to change. This week is an encouragement that we have a God worth trusting, knowing his timing and plan is better than ours.

Continuing our series through the book of James, Zach challenges us to examine our hearts and the importance of choosing Jesus in our inner lives. The message encourages us to rely on Jesus Christ throughout the week and concludes with a guided Prayer of Examen.

In week three of Tension and Triumph, Matt McClane teaches from James 1:22, challenging us to confront a common struggle in our faith: forgetting. We often hear God’s Word, show up to church, and even agree with what He says—yet walk away unchanged. This message calls us to remember who God is and what He’s doing in our lives, moving beyond passive belief into active obedience. Real faith isn’t just something we hear; it’s something we live out every day in the world around us.

Week 2 of Tension and Triumph continues through the book of James as Zach talks honestly about sin, its dangers, and how it slowly finds its way into our lives. This message challenges students not to ignore sin, but to deal with it directly. Zach also encourages taking a step toward freedom by talking with someone you trust and not fighting sin alone.

We started the year with *combined student services* as Matt shared a message on God’s grace and intercession, reminding us that there is new life available to those who belong to Christ. Matt challenged us to stop living in the old and step into the new life we have in Jesus—not tending a grave, but walking in freedom and transformation through Christ.
