Many of Auckland's city slickers are upping sticks and moving north to the Hibiscus Coast.
Within three days, seven coastal properties were snapped up for more than seven million dollars.
Bayleys Orewa owner and manager Kirsty Macky told Kate Hawkesby inner city Aucklanders are pushing up the prices very quickly.
“It’s just supply and demand. We’ve just got more buyers than we have properties for sale and so the competition for what we do have is fierce.”
