Red Flag: Discontentment

Red Flag: Discontentment
Whether it's the temptation of clicking “buy now” on Amazon or the seemingly endless pursuit of a life-long dream, no one is immune to discontentment. But at some point, you gottta know—pushing towards the things you want will cause you to miss out on the life you already have.
Red Flag: Arrogance

Red Flag: Arrogance
We all have blind spots—anyone else think it’s unfair that they’re so obvious to everyone but us?! This time, let’s talk about arrogance. And, to be honest, if you struggle with this, you probably don’t think you need to tune in…
Red Flag: Anger

Red Flag: Anger
The most difficult place to see red flags is in the mirror. Today’s red flag: anger. Sure, on the surface you're calm, cool, and collected. But if it doesn't take much to set you off...this one’s for you.
One Foot in the Grave

One Foot in the Grave
Life is full of unknowns, but one thing is certain and the same for everyone: you will die one day. Maybe facing that fact will help you come alive while you’re still alive.

What to Make
We all have unique stories, but we do have one thing in common: we’re alive. God gave each of us one life to live. It’s not perfect—probably not even ideal—but you have a life. So…what will you make of it?
What to Make

Better Way to Live
You can't live a perfect life…but you can live a better one. And this isn't just any old unsolicited advice from your second cousin twice removed at your family reunion. We're diving into biblical wisdom on a better way to live.
Better Way to Live
Better Way to Work

Better Way to Work
While climbing the corporate ladder seems like it would be ultimately satisfying…is it? Maybe there's more to success than society's take on getting to the top, money, and influence—and maybe contentment plays more of a role than we realize.
A Time for Everything

A Time for Everything
No season lasts forever. Summer is temporary just like your favorite team’s losing streak is temporary. Good seasons give us life and hard seasons are, well, hard. Both serve a purpose in our lives—but wouldn’t it be nice to have a steady hand to hold when the hard seasons inevitably come?

Bursting the Bubble
Do you ever think…what's the point? The things you think will satisfy you in life never truly do—at least not for long. So now's a good time to ask yourself: what are you chasing, and is it ultimately worth the effort?
Bursting the Bubble

Why is it so hard to give?
Money money money. It's what makes the world go round—right? It's no wonder that when we need money, we work for it, and once we have it, it's work to give it up. But what you gain from giving is more than financial, and it could surprise you.
Why is it so hard to give?

Why can't I stop?
Sometimes, things in life feel beyond your control—we're talking bad habits, addictions, sin patterns, etc. You want to break the cycle. How can you gain control of what feels uncontrollable, and where does faith fit in?
Why can't I stop?
Why am I here?

Why am I here?
Have you ever thought: “What is my purpose… and what if I accidentally missed it?! What if I made a wrong turn somewhere and settled for average when I could have been amazing?!” Deep breath—it’s not like that. If you've ever wondered, "why am I here?"—this one's for you.
How do I hear from God on a regular basis?

How do I hear from God on a regular basis?
It would be beyond amazing to get divine direction on the regular, right? Yes, we'd love to hear from God in moments of desperation, but he cares about the small details of your life, too. So...what does it look like to hear from God on your average Tuesday?
What does God want me to do?

What does God want me to do?
Wouldn’t it be nice if God spoke to you in BIG, bold, neon-sign letters? Super clear, no questions necessary. But God's direction is usually on the subtle side—so how do we discern the steps he wants us to take?

What does a conversation with God sound like?
I mean c’mon, it's pretty cool—the Creator of the entire universe wants to chat with YOU. And, honestly, we can all gain a lot from having a conversation with him, too. So, make time to talk…but also make time to listen.
What does a conversation with God sound like?
Healthy Sexuality

Healthy Sexuality
Think back - where did you first learn about sexuality? Maybe it was from a movie, or on social media...from your mom, or friends at school. How did that perspective inform your understanding, opinions, decisions when it comes to your own sexuality - and how do you know if it's healthy? It's one of the church's most requested topics, so we're going there.
Sexual Identity

Sexual Identity
Back in the day, "the talk" was pretty much all you needed—you know, the birds & the bees. But today, we're beyond that. Now, the conversation includes gender and identity—slightly more complicated. But there's a way to approach that conversation with biblical truth AND a loving perspective. So, ready or not, we’re going beyond the birds & the bees.
Expect Opposition

Expect Opposition
When you try to influence something for the better, we can naturally expect things to get in the way. How do you rise above the voices of opposition without getting discouraged?
A Fulfilled Life

A Fulfilled Life
Do you ever find yourself saying, “Someday, I’ll…”—but then being disappointed when “someday” never comes? Young or old, we’re all looking for fulfillment + purpose, and it’s not always clear how to get there. But what if the first step to “someday” could happen today?
One at a Time

One at a Time
There's something impactful about being seen—noticed in a crowd. We all crave being known and shown compassion. But how often do we think about doing that for other people? Maybe it's time to zoom in, set aside your plans, and take a good look at the person in front of you. That's how influence happens—one at a time.

Inspect the Walls
How can you influence the world around you for the better? Where there's brokenness and pain, there's also opportunity to rebuild. So take a look around—where can you lean in to bring healing, restoration, and hope?
Inspect the Walls
You Need A Cause

You Need A Cause
Having "influence" may sound appealing to you, but do you know what it is that you want to have influence over? Narrowing in your scope of influence brings purpose to your life—that's why you need a cause.
Different

Different
Sometimes, life feels like it's a delicate balance of fitting in and standing out. We all want to be accepted by the group, but we also want to be known and noticed as individuals. When it comes to following Jesus, we're called to be different, because Jesus is different. But what does that look like practically, while we're living in the world?

Hope
If you've ever been hopeless, you know how it can feel: like you're out of options, hurting, and stuck in that hurt. And if you've ever been hopeful, you know how it can feel: like you're filled with joy and motivation that just can't be explained. So…how do you get from hopeless to hopeful? Paul talks about it in Romans 5—spoiler: the answer's Jesus.
Hope

Faith
"Faith" can be hard to define and even harder to practice. Paul talks about it in the 4th chapter of Romans using the example of Abraham (yeah, the guy from the Old Testament). God worked in big, unlikely ways in Abraham and his wife Sarah's story—ways they could not have dreamed of or accomplished by themselves. It's an example of how, when we trust God in the midst of things too heavy to carry on our own, his strength and love will carry us.But it takes faith: prayerfully moving forward with full confidence that God has your back.
