Coach Lurone Jennings has had some rough days the past year or so when it comes to his health. From his heart to his kidneys and most recenlty, adjusting to being blind - he has been down, but not out! With the help of his lifelong friend - Willie Kitchens, they are still ministering to people and yes...having fun along the way! We talked about how Coach and I met (through a mutual friend - Bubba Swint) - his career in coaching and community serivce - Willie's musical journey - their friendship and walk with God - their upcoming podcast - AND MUCH MORE! PLUS - Coach raps for us! Lurone Jennings is the former administrator of the City Youth and Family Development, the Former Director of The Bethlehem Center, AND Brainerd High School Football Coach. In the early 2000s, Willie Kitchens became the lead singer of the Impressions, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Group. He was named to the Vocal Group Hall of Fame and was inducted into the Library of Congress as a History Maker in 2011 and the Beach Music Hall of Fame.
