Medicares new pilot program offers up to $500 a year for hemp-derived CBD products, but its facing legal challenges and potential end due to new hemp laws. The program, called the Substance Access Beneficiary Engagement Incentive, allows organizations to provide low-THC CBD items to eligible patients, but its been criticized for skipping proper rulemaking and potentially treating unapproved CBD like drugs.
