Show Notes
Amsterdam celebrated the 25th anniversary of the worlds first same-sex marriages with three couples tying the knot at City Hall, echoing the landmark ceremony in 2001. The Netherlands has seen over 36,000 same-sex marriages since then. Prime Minister Rob Jetten, the first openly gay leader, will marry his partner. In the U.S., over 800,000 same-sex couples married after the Supreme Courts 2015 ruling, with pushback bills in nine states not gaining ground.
