Show Notes

Heather Morris is a bestselling author and an inspiring 70-year-old Kiwi grandmother from Te Awamutu who just happens to have sold 16 million copies of her books.

In this episode Heather shares the incredible tale of her writing journey. She takes us behind the scenes, revealing how her first book 'The Tattooist of Auschwitz' was a beautiful accident that stemmed from a conversation with 87-year-old holocaust survivor, Lale Sokolov. The book has become phenomenally successful, and is currently being made into a mini series starring Harvey Keitel and Melanie Lynskey.

Heather's success is a testament to her resilience and determination. But at the heart of it all she is a wonderfully down-to-earth grandmother from heartland New Zealand, who has shown us that you are never too old to change your life, and the lives of those around you.
