If you want to understand how Jon Scheyer thinks about basketball, there are few reporters out there better to speak to than Jordan Brenner. Brenner writes for the Athletic and hosts a podcast about finding the underdogs and upsets in college and professional sports. But, back when he was a writer for ESPN: The Magazine, he wrote numerous profiles on Jon Scheyer and Duke basketball. Brenner joined the DBR Podcast crew for a conversation about how the first month of the season has gone for Duke and where the team goes from here. He addresses the strengths and weaknesses he has seen so far and reveals why he thinks this Duke team is the best yet in Scheyer's young career at the helm.
