There are many factors as to why our car insurance is dramatically more expensive now than ever before. Did you know there is math behind the setting of the final prices? This episode I visit with Dr Rick Gorvett, Professor and former Chair of the Mathematics Department at Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island. Dr Gorvett is also a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and has previously served as the Director of the Actuarial Science Program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. All that and more on the Driving You Crazy Podcast.
