Many view SNAP as just a way to help provide food but we were joined by someone who was able to see the multifaceted benefits of the SNAP program from food to even education - Ashley DePover of the Neighbor Advisory Council shares her story and how she became an advocate for the SNAP program.

So many helpful volunteers at today’s 'End Hunger Together' Radiothon and Maddie Archbold is one of them - she is the Sr. Cause Marketing & Events Specialist and Co-Lead for the Radiothon chats with Jason about the many amazing board members that work collectively to make this happen whether it is her, Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch among many, many others and she discusses the magic about how one dollar is able to stretch for one meal with your support of Second Harvest Heartland!

So many children struggle within families that cannot afford to find their next meal - we talked to Michael Arenson of Hennepin Healthcare who discusses the importance of nutrition and the need for families to keep their children fed and in good health - he also deep dives into the current struggles people face when it comes to not leaving their home, the current state of SNAP benefits for families and much more!
