Together with Australia's Tyson Stelzer, he founded The Great Australian Red wine competition to recognise and celebrate this unique wine style. While in Australia recently for the 2019 competition, Matthew visited Coonawarra for the annual Cabernet Celebrations festival, where he presented a Great Australian Red masterclass at Wynns Coonawarra Estate - and of course, don't forget to check out my interview with Wynns senior winemaker Sue Hodder in season three of this podcast.
