As you all know, water hyacinth is considered as one of the most troublesome aquatic plants. However, Anuroop and Vinod have successfully demonstrated that high quality biogas can be generated using water hyacinth. Their message is reaching far and wide, from Kasargode to Thiruvananthapuram and beyond.
Anuroop and Vinod are working on making cooking gas more affordable to the common man in a sustainable way. They are also helping to reduce the problematic water hyacinth from our lakes, ponds. Kerala's aquatic animals are sure to love this as well. "It is a win-win for all, economy and environment" says Anuroop.
