Minister of Sport, Arts, and Culture, Zizi Kodwa, talks about the benefits of using the arts to strengthen ties within the BRICS bloc. The Minister meets with the Russian Special Envoy on Cultural Affairs, H.E. Mr. Mikhail Shvydkoy. On bilateral meeting focused on finding opportunities to strengthen cultural cooperation and advance the creative arts sectors of the two nations. The minister touched on the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Cooperation in the Field of Culture leading up to the 2023 BRICS summit that is currently underway at the Sandton Convention Center in Johannesburg.
