The court application brought by the mayor of the Nelson Mandela Bay metro, Retief Odendaal, to stop a special council meeting from sitting today has been withdrawn. The withdrawal comes after the council meeting was cancelled. A motion of no confidence was set to be debated against Odendaal at the meeting.
