panel of experts have agreed on a need to rethink approaches to tackling South Africa's stubbornly high unemployment. They further concurred about the disruptive nature of technology and the threat it poses to the labour market and therefore requires creativity in economic policy formulation. Some experts at the SA-TIED policy dialogue at the University of Pretoria, agitated for grant-based approaches to activate labour-market policies. Bongiwe Zwane spoke to senior policy specialist at Institute for Economic Justice (IEJ), Neil Coleman
