The Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) has called for stern action to be taken against the thousands of employers named by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority for defaulting on staff pension fund contributions. Above 3,000 employers have been identified by the FSCA as being behind on retirement contributions for their staff members by more than four months. Some employers owe money for more than 252 months. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to Cosatu's Parliamentary Coordinator, Matthew Parks.
