High Lp(a): a Family Problem - Chuck’s Lp(a) Story - FORD BREWER MD MPH
Chuck has elevated Lp(a) or lipoprotein(a) levels. He shared his story about how he discovered it and showed that having high Lp(a) is hereditary. This may explain the early heart attacks in his mom's family. And after Lp(a) testing, other family members are also positive for high Lp(a).
