CIMT Test: A New Way to Look at Arterial Plaque - FORD BREWER MD MPH
The CIMT (carotid intima-media thickness) test measures the thickness of plaque between the intima & media layers of the carotid artery. I highly recommend it as a plaque screening test. However, know that not all CIMT test providers are the same.
