Marylands striped bass season is undergoing a significant change this year, with catch-and-release fishing returning to the Chesapeake Bay waters starting April first. The Department of Natural Resources, after extensive deliberation and public input, has revised the rules to prioritize conservation and provide more fishing opportunities.
