Delaware authorities are stepping up efforts to ensure road safety during St. Patricks Day weekend with a DUI checkpoint in Sussex County on March 13th. The Office of Highway Safety is collaborating with state police and local departments to apprehend impaired drivers. Last years Thanksgiving Eve checkpoint in New Castle County resulted in five DUI arrests and nineteen traffic stops.
