Show Notes
Good news for Delaware beaches: The sand bypass system at Indian River Inlet is set to restart later this month, after a two-year hiatus. The system, which pumps sand from the south side to the north to combat erosion, will operate from March 16th to May 15th, 2027. The project faced delays due to equipment failures and supply chain issues, but is now ready to help stabilize the beach.
