Cambridge Police Investigate Carjacking and Theft Chase; Suspects at Large
Police in Cambridge, Maryland, are investigating a carjacking and theft chase that occurred on March 29th. The incident began when officers spotted a stolen item in a vehicle on Bradley Avenue, leading to a high-speed chase. The car crashed into two stopped vehicles on US 50, and three suspects fled the scene. One suspect remains at large, while another, Christian Amour Jackson, was arrested and charged with blocking police, disorderly conduct, and ignoring orders. A third suspect is believed to have stolen a car from a Wawa lot, dragging the driver. The stolen car was later found abandoned, and a search led to a location on Pacific Avenue filled with drugs, drug paraphernalia, ammunition, and a foreign rifle with a drum magazine. Charges are pending for the carjacker, and police are asking for the publics help in identifying and locating the suspect who fled on Shoal Creek.
