iOS 18 Update ‘Low Risk’ According To AppleVis & The Cost Of Assistive Technology

Today on the show Steven and Shaun discuss the latest iOS 18 update and its accessibility features. Following the release, the team at AppleVis launch their yearly bug report, which this year classifies the update as ‘low risk’, meaning there aren’t any major bugs affecting performance enough to discourage people downloading the new operating system. Also they chat about the new AirPods 4 and their features such as Active Noise Canceelation on the more expensive of the two options, along with a speaker that helps you locate them if you drop or lose them. And there’s more of your emails and comments including more views on the costs of assistive technology and the challenges of cheaper versus expensive braille displays.
