In this episode, we respond directly to a question asked about improving hook-set ratios from a kayak. A fisherman online asked the question in a kayak bass fishing group we are a member of. The person is used to fishing from their boat and their favorite bait to bass fish with is a plastic worm. He was noticing that his hook-up ratio was lower and he was finding a challenge with pinning fish from a kayak compared to his boat. We dive into the physics in play and share our similar experience. Join us for an in-depth view of what factors are in play that can affect your hook-sets while fishing from a kayak. This podcast is intended for folks new to fishing all the way to more experienced anglers making the conversion to kayaks from boats.
